My sister (who lives 30 mins away) was kind enough to come over and babysit. It was really nice to socialize and to dance, although my feet paid the price the next day. We got a sitter through a service that works with local university students. She came over after we had already put the kid down for the night so he didn't have to deal with meeting someone unfamiliar. We never know when my husband will be home or when he'll go to work so we can't really plan date nights. We're more spontaneous and usually have things we need to take care but haven't gotten around too since he's working. I honestly don't remember what we did last. </p> <p>We did go on a babymoon. We stayed the night at a hotel on the beach. We went to an aquarium to see Winter the dolphin (anybody see the Dolphin's Tail movie??), rode the Jolly Trolly, and I sat in the pool for hours because it was summer and I was very pregnant.</p> <p>And then we spent the entire night calling security to yell at our stupid neighbors for blasting their music. Literally, all night. We got up, I opened a gift, and then my husband told me we were going shopping. He picked out and bought me a dress. We returned home, got dressed up, and went out to a nice dinner. He gave me my real gift - some diamond studs. We ended the night at Movie Tavern drinking margaritas and watching Breaking Dawn.
