We planned to do it after baby, but he was late &amp; when the induction was scheduled, we decided that was as good a time as any. My induction was unplanned - blood pressure was super high at my 40 week appointment, so I got told I was getting induced asap, but my OB was kind enough to let me go home to get my things... She also told me to eat all the food in my house before heading to the hospital. I had an u/s and NST booked for 8am the next morning and we kept joking about how we couldn't possibly get anything but good news because it would be too cruel to force me into an induction on 0 sleep. The next morning I ate nothing (bc I planned to eat between appointments) and went to my u/s where I got kicked over to L&amp;D for induction! Dogs are dropped off at the kennel. I wish I had the chance to see them in person but DH is busy getting things done. I was induced five years ago yesterday, my daughter was born the day after I was induced and she turned five today!
