It was probably the worst day of my life.</p> <p>The first planned night, however, was at 5.5 months, when I was well on my way to recovery and we went to nyc! The next day we did a little shopping, walked around just spending time together, and then a light greek lunch. It was also their first night away from their baby. DH knew he wouldn't be getting any nookie so he bailed on me after the wedding to go to the after party. I was too damn tired. That was at 6 months. </p> <p>The second night away was last night. In laws came to town so I took DH out for his birthday. Sleeping through the night was heaven.
