He wasn't excited for the bike and didn't get into it until a year later. My train obsessed kid has played with his train table everyday since we bought it when he was 2. Great purchase! We bought a regular table from TRU and had a lot of Thomas trains. Around 2.5 he started saying "we should buy a bike with pedals for my birthday" so we did!</p> <p>Unfortunately, the one we got (ordered online) was really heavy and he didn't ride it much.
