DD will be 2 in 5 weeks, and I'm trying to decide what to get her. Mostly, I struggle with how much to get/not get. We don't have a lot of space, but there are things she's super into right now that I know would be a hit.</p> <p>For example, she is loving trying to cut food with knives. I usually give her a small butter knife, but a play cutting food set would be better. Also, she's obsessed with tools, so a play tool set would also be good. And we need some more coloring books to put in the rotation.</p> <p>The thing I struggle most with is that I'd like to get her a kitchen, because I think she would love it. But given everything else, that sounds like overkill. And I don't want to just keep adding more and more toys, to the point where she then doesn't play with anything...</p> <p>Gah! Can't believe it). The only thing I know I want to get them are baby carriers. They have Anna and Elsa dolls that they like to carry everywhere, but then their arms are full and it's hard to do anything else. Then they get upset if they have to put one girl down, or if they drop one somewhere.
