For our 1st anniversary I got DH tickets to see his favorite band in concert (paper). After all, the traditional gift for the second year is cotton.</p> <p>For the first year (the traditional gift is paper) I got him an uncut sheet of bills from the U.S. Mint and framed them. We like to get/give “experiences” more or more expensive items we can share. We decided after our first anniversary that we would just go out for a very nice dinner each year and that would be our gift to each other. It takes the pressure off of coming up with a physical gift. Traditionally, the 2nd anniversary gift is cotton. Maybe you could get him some fancy hobby-related clothes?
