I didn't get one with DS, I started seeing lots of moms at daycare have them not too long after I had him. Totally better than a blanket falling off and keep away from prying hands!

I think probably just a new dresser, clothes if different gender / season, snuggabunny swing, video monitor.

And that's it I think. I'm still undecided if we would use a double. M is already in a toddler bed so we will transition her to a big girl bed at that point and use her crib for #2.

- A crib. Gah, they are too close in age to share! That and LO1's converts to a toddler bed so he'll still be in it.

- Maybe an activity mat. We didn't use it a ton with the first, but we were borrowing one and it might be good to have one.

- A new pump and bottles.

- New pacis, probably some new onesies (so many poop stains...) More sleepers (seems like you can never have enough).

- Probably a fair amount of clothes. One winter and one summer baby might limit their overlap!

Unsure about:

- A double stroller. They will be 18 months apart, but I really hate them!

- Swing/RNP. We didn't use one with the first, but they could be handy.

- High chair. Probably will just move LO1 to his Fisher Price booster and use the high chair for the newbie.

a pack n play (never used one with our first, but we're planning on having the second sleep in one for the first few months).

an activity gym, I always wished I had one with LO1, but never bought one. this time I will!

little things, like a couple more pacis, maybe a couple more muslin blankets, more summer clothes since no 1 was a winter baby.

other than that I think we have everything. the stroller I bought for LO in the first place can be converted to an inline double if I need!

We got the rumble seat and piggyback for our UB Vista a long time ago. It was nice to use it with visiting friends and cousins, and we figured if we were going to own these items we might as well get the max use out of them.

We got the newborn set for the Tripp Trapp high chair so that DD2 can join us for family meals.

We are getting a shower cap style car seat cover. I figure w/2 kids we'll drive more and take less public transportation. Somewhere down the line I may get DD2 her own hooded towel. I really think that's it!

I started my list and we need: Crib, mattress, dresser, double stroller, pacis, a few clothing items, camera for video monitor, and I think my friend is going to let us borrow their rock n play.

I refuse to get a double stroller. I'll wear bebe and stroller LO (or he can walk).

I'm thinking: crib, mattress, wash cloths/towel. And if this one is a girl, clothes.

ETA: oh! Forgot high chair.

@Arden: Luckily for all our "gear" I bought gender neutral things too but DD wore our bouncer out! So we need a new one lol

@autumnlove: Eek! Just got our double stroller in the mail. Its feeling pretty real :)

@septca: ooh! new bath towels. The first ones we got for DD were so thin and didn't absorb anything! I found the 3sprout towels once she was a bit older and loved them.

I am thinking ahead on this, too.
- If #2 is a boy, we will need clothes and some new blankets.
- I think I will get some new bath towels and wash cloths so we have plenty.
- New pacifiers and Wubanubs.
- We never used a swing or RnP with DD, but I think I want one for #2.
- We already have the second seat for our stroller, but I will probably buy a second Bundle Me.
- A new pump (mine is starting to die and I get a free one every 12 months with my insurance).

No second LO yet, but I don't think we'll need much. I bought all neutral things, so if its a boy we'll just need clothes, and if it's a girl, not much at all!

I'm putting together an Amazon wish list of things I need for the new baby. We have saved most of DD's things (activity mat, jumper, etc...) but I know there are some things this one will need ie: new pacifiers, burp cloths. I'm also hoping that this one is a girl so we can reuse all of her clothes/blankets/etc! Darn being Team Green is hard!!

What did you need for your 2nd LO?
