They are different seasons so I've been picking out some special clothes for the tiny one. It also means two girls I can splurge on stuff for DD knowing it will get used again. We're getting a piggyback board for our cruz. DH is adamant he doesn't want a double. My favorite 2nd baby purchase, though, was my Covered Goods multi-use nursing cover. It's a 360-degree cover, so even my squirmy little girl couldn't kick it off and expose me to all of Target. Buying a second carrier so my husband could have his own and not having to readjust all the time was one of my best decisions with our daughter. We are getting DS1's big boy room ready for him now, so we've bought a lot there, but for the new baby we haven't really gone overboard. I don't think! :wink: </p> <p>We bought the following already:<br /> - Halo bassinest (MIL provided heirloom wooden bassinet for DS1); it was safe and low to the ground but we all hated it. I do like it but am a bit annoyed because a major reason I chose that one was to use with our britax carseat and there was a recall soon after I bought the stroller so now we're not really supposed to use the carseat attachment. So we've only used it a little. It also feels so big compared to my single! But it handles pretty nicely and isn't too heavy. We bought him a new camera for the monitor, a carseat mirror, a few new sleepers and bibs, pacis, and personalized PBK towels. DS1 has a few personalized PBK towels, so I got it for fairness. </p> <p>We did get newborn photos and 100 day photos for DS2 like we did for DS1 - again fairness. </p> <p>Oh and we got some new stuffed animals for him, since kids get attached to things like that. </p> <p>I ended up getting all new bottles for DS2 because the old ones started leaking (ugh).
