We do the full swaddle at night, and then just swaddle the wings over his belly for naps. When he's consistently rolling over we'll just use them like a sleep sack and leave his arms out. We started with the kind that still has "arms" that you can fold around the belly for a swaddle feel. But now we just have a regular one. The transition was easy and he slept great. It was awesome. Mine hates to have her feet confined so the sleep sacks work ok - she still kind of hates the swaddle but can't sleep a good stretch without it! We switched them from swaddles to Zipadeezips around 5 months old because even though they loved their swaddle, they were seriously breaking out of them. We tried going to a sleep sack but they did not like them. DD had bad eczema on her cheeks and we needed her hands covered so she wouldn't scratch it.
