The birther stuff sounded like a pile on and was his way of staying in the news/ relevant. He's always been a master at promoting himself and while I liked The Apprentice I really saw it as another way to build his brand and launch his children's. </p> <p>I don't think I have ever heard him speak on a topic outside of what he said on the show that I thought he had credibility to say. He has outrageous opinions- always has. I would make fun of his hair, I would call him a slumlord, I would make fun of his ties. And he could just take a punch like nothing. He was the perfect guest. &gt;&gt;</p> <p>I never watched the Apprentice or bought his products, but if he was on a talk show, then I would watch it. I found him entertaining. Sure he seemed pretty narcissistic, but that describes a lot of people in Hollywood and the public eye - and all that press coverage was good for his brand.
