I can't imagine one being allowed to come onto school grounds! The summer camp I went to sometimes had field trips to nearby parks with concessions stands, and I would usually buy either the chocolate eclair pops (I think they're the chocolate version of the strawberry shortcake pops?) or pixie sticks. Not the tiny pixie sticks that are about the size of a regular straw, though -- the HUGE ones that are like half a pound of flavored sugar. The blue ones were the best! I think my mom said they were drug dealers, kidnappers, or some sort of bad guys. I asked her about it recently she said said that she must have made that up. We weren't given money for the ice cream truck because the store was cheaper. There was a neighborhood truck that knew we couldn't buy from him, so he would drive by and throw us candy.
