It was just more comfortable with the nurses checking me. I brought some pjs and loungewear, but after I showered, I just was not in the mood. It was just easier with breastfeeding/checks/I was bleeding non stop and Im not even sure if my pjs would have fit over my giant mesh panty ice sack I was wearing. They're comfy and set up for nursing. I wear them nightly at home, so it was a great investment for me. That was more important to me than potentially ruining my clothes! By then I was used to it so I just stayed in it the last night. Plus I had a nurse coming in to check my stitches/swelling every couple of hours. It was just easier that way! I cannot recommend them to new moms enough. I hated where the breastfeeding holes on my hospital gowns were (totally impractical) but I hated having my shoulders bare (oddly the only place I get cold!) I was hot and sweaty after my c-section so not having pants on was great, plus it made it easy for my checks with the nurses and breastfeeding. I could zip up quickly if guests came and it was easy enough to throw a pair of PJ bottoms on if needed.
