The hospital gown for both LOs. I didn't want to deal with blood on anything or extra laundry right when I got home.

My own clothes! I was super uninterested in feeling like.I was a sick patient-I wasnt! I wore Old Navy Tami tanks, a nursing bra, and a pj like sweater from Target. When I was in bed, I didn't wear pants, but I brought PJ pants for walking around.

I only stayed one night, and wore the hospital gown with a nursing sleep bra from Target underneath. It was just more comfortable with the nurses checking me. My Lo also ended up soaking me and the entire bed with pee at one point, so it was a good call. :silly:

Hospital gown. They checked my business so often, I didn't want pants on. I didn't care what I wore, though. I had a very thin robe I wore over it when I was cold

I just stayed in the gown the entire time. I brought some pjs and loungewear, but after I showered, I just was not in the mood. It was just easier with breastfeeding/checks/I was bleeding non stop and Im not even sure if my pjs would have fit over my giant mesh panty ice sack I was wearing. I was only there for like.....1.5 days though, so it wasn't too bad.

I just stayed in my gown for my first, but this time I think I'll bring some comfy pjs and a robe, my DD gets a little anxious in a hospital setting, so I think seeing me in normal clothes when she comes to meet the baby will help make her more comfortable.

I had c-sections both times and always loved my motherhood maternity gown and robe combos. They're comfy and set up for nursing. I wear them nightly at home, so it was a great investment for me. I have a pant set like @lawbee too which is also great - just not ideal for the immediate post-delivery phase.

I don't know how I could've worn any pants when I wore the giant granny panty with like 4 pads in there haha. I wore this long button down nightgown so that I could work outside looking "decent", but easy enough for nursing and for nurses to check me. Then I went home in maternity leggings, nursing tank and hoodie.

I was in the hospital gown for about 24 hours, but after that really needed to change into some of my own clothes just to feel more put together. That was more important to me than potentially ruining my clothes! I had 2 nursing gowns, a robe, and some yoga pants and a nursing top that I wore the final 1-2 days I was there and was so glad I brought them.

I wore the gown the whole time until I got dressed to leave. But our gowns were actually really annoying because they didn't unsnap at the shoulders for breastfeeding, so I had to pull the whole shoulder down.

I think next time I'll bring a button up nightshirt and soft nursing bra... But may stay in the gown anyway. It's so nice to not have to worry about bleeding on it and convenient for all the checks.

I had to stay in the hospital gown because I still had a catheter until the night before we went home. By then I was used to it so I just stayed in it the last night. Plus I had a nurse coming in to check my stitches/swelling every couple of hours. It was just easier that way! I'll probably do the same next time but maybe bring in some comfy nightgowns just in case I have the urge to change.

I wore a short-sleeve zip-up duster robe. I cannot recommend them to new moms enough. I hated where the breastfeeding holes on my hospital gowns were (totally impractical) but I hated having my shoulders bare (oddly the only place I get cold!) I was hot and sweaty after my c-section so not having pants on was great, plus it made it easy for my checks with the nurses and breastfeeding. I could zip up quickly if guests came and it was easy enough to throw a pair of PJ bottoms on if needed. I ended up staying for 6 days so when I was running to the NICU, it was maternity yoga pants, nursing tank, and a large zip-up hoodie sweater - which is also the best going home outfit!

I think I wore the hospital gown mostly, at least while I still had a catheter in. Then I think I wore a pyjama top and loose sweatpants.
