I specifically had it in my birth plan that I wanted as few people in the room as possible, so that made me feel comfortable while I was naked. I also assumed that if I had a waterbirth, I'd want to be naked. I brought a cheap suit just in case, though. I really cared about what I was wearing, so if you think you will, ignore all the people who'll tell you you won't. I eventually took it off when I was in and out of the bath and such. It never got any kind of messy.</p> <p>I was totally positive that I would not be naked no way not at all. Surprise, when I started pushing, I just HAD to take my gown off. No idea why.
