Both my kids ate lamb, potatoes, carrots, peas, corn and beans and the little guy also had half a jar of baby food. Felix dropped half of his down his pants but he had a good time doing it :-)

The same thing - roast chicken, mashed potato, sprouts and leeks, with optional cheese sauce. She only ate the chicken though.

Tonight, she had the same as us - fish and chips (although I had stir fried veg instead of chips).

We eat dinner around 8 after DS is in bed. I can't remember last night, but tonight he had a soft cheese sandwich, grapes, strawberries, a yoghurt and some leftover gnocchi from our dinner last night (which he didn't touch)

LO is criminally exhausted at the end of each day, so we only have a few minutes between her arrival at home and when she really needs to go to bed. So we feed her her own food, then cook our dinner after she's asleep. Last night that was an entire clementine, a handful of grapes, and some yogurt/banana/cinnamon mash. Not exactly a balanced meal but we had to move quickly and she wolfed it down. Sometimes we give her leftovers from what we cooked the previous night.

our freezer is broken right now so she doesn't have many options besides eating what we eat! :silly: last night we had homemade pizza with brussels sprouts and arugala, but she had already eaten some yogurt and applesauce before dh and I sat down so I don't know how much she ate (she def didn;t eat the arugula!)

LO doesn't eat what we eat because we eat after he goes to bed. We just don't get home in time to have dinner on the table for all of us by 6:20-6:30. So he had some leftover fish, goldfish, cheese, and pineapple. Super random!

@Anagram: I just use canned, drain and rinse, pat dry, coat in olive oil and sprinkle salt, then roast for 25ish mins at 400. Add whatever seasonings you want when they come out...LO likes Parmesan.

The Kitchn has a good recipe: http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-crispy-roasted-chickpeas-in-the-oven-cooking-lessons-from-the-kitchn-219753

@tinyperson: mm...roasted chickpeas? I've never roasted those before. Is there something in particular you do with them?

We only use chickpeas for hummus and curry, so I could get on board with a new way to eat them.

LO only eats what we eat 50% of the time. She's dairy and soy free and we eat those things, plus my husband likes everything to be spicy and LO doesn't eat spicy stuff at all.

My whole house is sick, so last night LO had left over rotisserie chicken and steamer veggies ("asian medley" which is broccoli, snow peas, carrots, and mini corn). I had cereal, and I'm pretty sure DH didn't eat at all, haha.

We had chicken adobo with sides of cauliflower and broccoli. The kids also had cucumbers and rice. The only times we have separate meals is due to food allergies. Most meals are allergy friendly for all.

One bite of chicken, one bite of cauliflower, and one bite of zucchini. He is required to eat one bite of everything I put on the table. More was apparently not an option for him last night. Oh well. (And yes, it is what we ate.)

My 7 month old ate quite a bit of all three, though!

I only make a separate meal if for some reason the timing is crazy, or there's really only one option and it's really spicy. Then I try to just modify part of it (I'll make stir fry with a ginger sauce, and he eats just the stir fry minus the sauce.)

I knew we'd be in a rush last night between a doctor's appointment in the late afternoon and me solo parenting, so I grabbed a kid's meal at CFA at lunch time and saved it for dinner. So he had 3 nuggets, some cut up waffle fries, the apple juice box, and some fresh fruit and cucumbers on the side.

DH had dinner late when he came home (Crockpot Italian Beef sandwiches, which are his favorite and a special meal for him for his birthday and too spicy for DS anyway). I wasn't hungry for dinner but then had a preggo craving for pizza later so I grabbed a Hot and Ready $4.99 special at Little Caesar's at 9pm! :silly:
