There's no way I could take care of my lo with a bad migraine. It just can't happen. I actually have my in laws close by too, but I prefer my mom to baby sit because she's more familiar with my lo's schedule and my lo is less likely to scream at her the whole time (see my shy baby post ). Hubs couldn't stay home on such short notice so I had to call my mom at 2am and ask her if she could come. She works for my dad, so it's easy for her to take time off. She loves doing it too, but I always feel bad because she gets behind in her work. If she can't be there my hubby has to take off, which is pretty bad right now because his company is merging and we don't know what's going to happen with his job and taking lots of time off won't look good for him.</p> <p>But we don't have a choice! What do you do when you're too sick to take care of the baby? </p>
