I had a friend who brought frozen breakfast burritos and a loaf of banana bread. We were in such a fog we didn't even realize how many breakfasts we had missed! </p> <p>Other things that stood out:<br /> -fruit &amp; veggie trays (just the pre-packaged store versions were great for a healthy snack you could grab w/baby in one hand)<br /> -dessert. One friend brought an entire boston creme pie. You bet your ass I are the shiz outta that thing! It was soooooo good :)<br /> -food of any kind. Seriously. There's no energy to cook anything decent. And I always appreciated the food in throw away containers so I didn't have to stress about returning dishes.<br /> -an offer to sit with baby so the mom can nap or shower.
