We use NameBubbles for food containers and clothes.</p> <p>I'd suggest a hat to leave in the cubby at school. Due to risk of sharing. Cups are easier to use for the kiddos, and the teachers are vigilant about not mixing them up. We currently send in: sheet and a light blanket for nap (cleaned at the end of each week), at least 3 sets of extra clothes (currently 6 sets and an extra pair of shoes since she is recently potty trained), sunscreen, and sun hat. Labels for all the clothes. I like that he has a backpack to transport that stuff so I don't have to. We do like @PinkElephant: in regards to extra clothes. We also keep a pair of those slip-on shoes from Old Navy at school for accidents. We sent a water bottle for my NK's first year but she never used it. It just sat in their cubby the whole time. They have their own cups that they use at snack. It isn't like daycare. I bought him a new water bottle (to keep at school) and labels. Preschool provides lunch and afternoon snack. What else couldn't you/your child live without for preschool? Thanks! </p>
