All the cheese: Feta (can be frozen), brie, Humboldt Fog (!!!), mozzarella, Comte...you get the idea. They have good prices on the good stuff and therefore cheese up an embarrassing amount of my total bill there.

Fruit
Fresh vegetables
Garlic
Frozen Alaskan salmon (when it's actually from Alaska...once or twice it wasn't!)
Smoked salmon
Frozen spanakopita
Frozen blueberries
Oatmeal
Hemp seeds
Almond butter
Peanut butter
Raw nuts
Cinnamon
Crushed red peppers
Pepper
Butter
Sliced cheddar (it comes in a plastic box)
Organic black beans and garbanzos (canned)
Toilet paper and paper towels
La Croix
Whole wheat tortillas

Their bakery bread used to be awesome, but they changed many of the recipes and dropped most of La Brea Bakery's stuff, and now they're mostly mediocre. The baguettes are still worth eating. The plain croissants are decent and freeze well. The pumpkin pies I've heard are great, but they had HFCS in them and I avoid that. And the two times per year I want pumpkin pie, I'm sort of partial to making it myself.

Homeschool supplies: pens, Moleskin notebooks (I hope they bring these back!), regular ruled notebooks, pencils, colored pencils/pens, copy paper, Post-its, binders, etc. Oh, and BOB books and a whiteboard and dry erase pens. They used to have amazing pop-up books too, but I haven't seen those in a while.

I think 80% of son's entire infant and toddler wardrobe came from their Carter's section.

Socks for me
Sunglasses
Christmas lights
Glass Snapware

Pizza from the food court (kind of greasy and undoubtedly unhealthy, but after the drive there and back and dealing with the lines and parking lot, I'm not up for making lunch, so I stick it in the oven to reheat, add the bagged kale salad from the veg section, and call it good)

ETA: Mayorga coffee! (Diminished supplies of this and toilet paper are basically how I determine whether I need to go back... :silly: )

We go once every two weeks. I get (although not every time)
Meat- I am particularly fond of their round roast, boneless lamb leg, all of the vacuum packed chicken, Italian sausage)
Eggs
Milk and cream
Cheese- mostly Brie and cheddar
Produce- they almost always have the best price on berries! We also like the veggie tray, green beans, and tomatoes. My family eats tons of this so it doesn't really go bad
Coffee
Frozen fruit
Bakery stuff- everything they bake there is super yummy
Hummus/ guac cups

We usually don't get snacks from there because they get stale before we can eat them all! The one exception is the Kirkland brand nut bars (kinda like kind bars)

I don't have a Costco membership anymore, but I'm reconsidering after following my SIL's instagram acct. She posts the best stuff she gets from Costco. She's an addict! She has great recipes with things she gets from there. Like these smoked pork tacos she makes, mmm. Wall me if you want her acct name! She has some great ideas and deals she finds!

We buy a lot of convenience foods as that's our current stage of life.

- French bread sticks
- Fish sticks
- Cod fillets
- Veggie Straws & Pirates Booty
- Black beans
- Apple sauce pouches
- Baby wipes
- Paper towels
- Eggs
- Laundry detergent
- Disinfecting wipes
- Vitamins
- Allergy meds
- Yogurt
- Bacon!! They have the best thick cut bacon. We also get the bacon crumbles.
- Breakfast sausages
- Cottage cheese
- Fresh berries (the other fruit tends to be too large of quantities for our family)
- Rotisserie chicken (off the bones)
- Pretzel rolls (sooo good toasted)

We go about every three weeks or so, and can't seem to get out of there for under $200!

Not exclusively bc we don't get to costco as much as we need but: coffee, detergents, flour tortillas, cheeses, eggs, bread is way cheaper than the grocery store, cans of black beans, various toiletries (deodorant, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, razors).

When we first started going I would have sticker shock at some of the prices even though obviously the quantities are larger and most things are a great deal. But I had to mentally train myself to realize that most things you put in your cart are going to be around $10 so it adds up fast!

I don't think we buy anything exclusively there but I usually get my fish there. We will also get meat because it is typically the best price. Fruit if it is a good price (their fruit usually looks really good). Their bakery is fantastic, you should try their breads. I'll get the big bags of chocolate chips and brown sugar there, as well as party foods if I'm feeding a crowd.

It's a good place for birthday gifts, in their book section. Sometimes they'll have decent toys. Their rash guard swim suits are great!
