Meat, berries, spinach, butter, yogurt. My dh is the only one in the house who drinks milk and he just wants regular 2%.

Eta: sorry I had no clue what "dirty dozen" was when answering

I usually go to the farmer's market, so while a lot of the produce there is not necessarily organic, it's grown on much smaller scale farms, which use less pesticides, etc. So I get whatever produce is available (love summer harvest season, there's sooo much!), plus milk, yogurt and butter from the dairy there, meat and eggs from vendors there as well (all grass fed and humanely raised). I've definitely become a lot more conscious of where my animal products come from since I started feeding my babies!

Whatever I can! But here the organic brands are not that much more expensive than regular ones, so if there is an organic option, I take it.

Whatever I can usually. All of LOs food pouches and milk. I look for cage-free, no hormones and antibiotics for eggs and meat when I can.

Produce, dairy, meat...we get a lot of organic stuff...one option is to find a local farm/ranch that is basically organic but who don't have the actually certification because its so expensive to get it.

Animal products like milk, butter, eggs, cheese, and meat. Canned tomatoes which are pretty much the only canned food we eat. Organic produce when we can afford it. Organic bread/crackers/whatever processed food we buy on an extremely limited basis. Our bulk stores of oats and wheat. Sugar. And anything for LO!

Oh, and beef. I switched to only organic grass fed for red meat. We only have it 2-3 times per month to keep the cost down...its not cheap.

Just milk. I do rbgh free for all other dairy. I dont do organic for all of the dirty dozen, but always for lettuce and spinach since they are much harder to wash well.

Milk!!! I get my milk from a local organic dairy. I also am a stickler about organic eggs and prefer grass-fed beef.

In addition to the dirty dozen, DH has been on an organic kick. I'd like to pair down his "buy everything organic" craze to something a bit more budget friendly and manageable.

What are your organic essentials? (Excluding the dirty dozen)
