When I was in high school my brother and I both worked for my mom (coaching tennis at a club where my mom was the head coach). She told us we couldn't call her mom at work and we told her we sure as hell weren't calling her Mrs. XXXXX so we went with her first name and it stuck. So when I say "mom", all the female staff look at me... I guess they think I'm saying "maam"!</p> <p>So I changed to using my mom's first name! I've never called my parents anything other than "mom" or "dad", so this is going to take some getting used to...</p> <p>What do you call your parents? Do you ever call your parents anything besides "mom" or "dad"? </p>
