I love walking him, but it makes it more difficult when you're 2-hours away and need to leave things early to make sure he gets out. We also can't spontaneously travel unless we want to take him with us.</p> <p>- Walking him in the freezing cold. I hate being cold!</p> <p>- Shedding.</p> <p>- The fact that their lives are so much shorter than ours. The Yorkies are constantly barking at everything and nothing. It's a wonder LO can sleep through the ruckus. They also have accidents on the carpet every so often. The Golden Retriever sheds like there's no tomorrow. I vacuum daily, but a small Golden Retriever still comes out of the vacuum canister. She chews on EVERYTHING and has destroyed at least seven pet beds. Cooper has anxiety and keeping him crated seemed to help while we are at work.
