Forms, paperwork, a little bit of accounting, and just keep the park functioning. I also work the facilities when someone calls in it needed and I plan the recreation events that take place. The consulting gig required too much traveling but it was fun while I had that opportunity. My goal was to be a SAHM until baby girl is 2 and she will be 2 soon. I can't believe how fast these last few years have been! Whoever wrote "the days are long but the years are short" was on point. I have so many mixed emotions right now, mostly worries about being away from DD but returning to the workforce is a must. We don't try to patent anything that isn't patentable, so I search for previous ART. Too expensive of a mistake to not. But sometimes we decline seeking patent if the business case isn't solid or something is best left as a company trade secret. I've been teching on and off since high school (interspersed with being a horse trainer) and I have yet to work in a hospital where I feel it would be a big advantage to be registered. I've expressed interest but none of my employers have been interested in helping with the costs, so I've just stayed an "assistant" who can do most everything the techs do. If I lived in an area with bigger hospitals I think I would've gotten registered by now. My current hospital was a small family owned place with a great atmosphere and good people, until a year and a half ago when it was sold to a small corporation. Our new bosses don't care much about our dinky little clinic, and it shows in so many ways.
