Just go to the inn that you liked as planned! I think both of your kids will be fine. They would enjoy it even just playing in the hotel room. We traveled with our 4 year old since he was 3 months. He often enjoys things we didn't think he would and vice versa... so we don't let the "fear" stop us lol. He is obsessed with being in the hotel room or going to a hotel it is crazy. I think sometimes we often forget our kids need to adapt to us, not the other way around.... I hope you have a great time! xoxo :)

ETA: I remember seeing somewhere that you can put cloth hanger clips (decorate it and what not) and clip it on the sun visor (?) on your car. Each kid (and maybe even daddy and mommy) has one. If everyone behaves the clips stay on, if they don't the clip that is assigned to the specific person comes off. Whoever have their clip stay on the whole time gets a treat at the next stop /destination. I think it is a good idea, try it :)

We took our boys to Great Wolf lodge in KC last year when they were 2 years and 8 months and they LOVED it then, I would imagine they would have even more fun now!

3 hours is about the max I will tolerate in a car. I have always wanted to try Great Wolf, that sounds like fun.

Great Wolf Lodge is super fun!! The one near me has an area just for toddlers. My daughter isn't big enough to do any rides but she loves to just splash and get held in the wave pool.

I feel like 15 mo will enjoy it! DD is 17 months and I know she would've, and the fact that you have an older one that can take advantage of more facilities is great!

I would find a kid friendly hotel with pool no more than a 2 hour drive away and spend the weekend there. Leave Friday after work, if possible, so you can do a 2 night stay.

Fun! We dont have much that close to us. Family is about 5 hours away and thats easier to do with a 3 day weekend.

There is a zoo around 2 hours from us and there are some good free museums.

I think the Great Wolf Lodge would be amazing!

When you only have a weekend (no vacation time from work) and you want to take the kids on a quick getaway. the kids will be 3 1/2 and 15 months when we go and we don't' want to fly and deal with the hassle. My thought was Great Wolf Lodge that is about 3 hours from us, DH doesn't think our youngest will enjoy that. I'm drawing a blank on other ideas that are fun and easy to do (aka no camping!) What do you do for a weekend away?
