I alternate ice and heat (on a medium setting for only ten minutes), try to stretch as much as possible even when it's not hurting, and get hubs to rub it for me. Also make sure you have good posture when you are sitting at your desk and consider putting your feet on a low stool to take some pressure off your back.

I had/have awful, awful lower back pain during pregnancy. In the first trimester I just suffered and used the heated seat in my car (haha).

Tylenol didn't work for me really, but my doctor okay'd small amounts of Bengay (he ok'd this in the 3rd tri), and I also alternate heating pad and ice. Bouncing on a yoga ball helps, too...as does having my husband "knuckle" my back, he rubs it really hard with his knuckles where it hurts the most.

i use a hot pack. You might want to try the belly support belt.

I've never really had to deal with back pain before but I've had lower back pain for the last 2 weeks so I think I have to do something about it. Maybe it's because my belly is getting bigger and I have to carry 30 lbs of DD around. Ugh, pain. What do you do?
