My LO wouldn't take comfort from teething rings for more than a few seconds. Usually it was just teething gel, the organic stuff from Baby Orajel, and his pacifier (which he started taking once he started teething). He would also chomp on some damp washclothes but was more interested in chomping on my fingers.

Amber teething necklace & Boiron Camilla teething relief <-- SO much better than Hyland teething tablets! I've also notice P really likes the toast I've made her so maybe toast with a spread of some sort on it for lunch or snack? P doesn't like the cold wet wash cloths but your lo might!

Ditto the wet/frozen washclothes - my LO seems to prefer those when she is teething.

My LO really liked chewing on wet wash cloths. He could pay attention to teething rings for a bit but he really enjoyed wet wash cloths.

E has gotten some relief from frozen washcloths and a green sprouts fruit cool soothing teether that I threw in the freezer--he really likes that, I assume the cold numbs his gums some. When it gets really bad (and with our pedi's blessing) I give him half a dose of Pedia Care Fever Reducer/Pain Reliever Acetaminophen. And I let him chew on pretty much everything (well that is safe for him to chew on, obviously).

My LO's upper teeth are trying to come in and I can tell it's really painful for him. We have tried teething tablets, what else can I do for relief?
