Here's what I try to do (if needed for week's meals)
- brown hamburger
- cook & shred chicken
- prep veggies/fruits for week
- soup for lunches - simmer and put in individual containers

sometimes i do it, sometimes i don't. i really have to be in the mood to cook and sometimes i just don't feel like it! but when i batch cook i usually boil eggs, roast sweet potatoes, make spaghetti meat sauce or chili, make a big batch of korean soup, and maybe even make a separate dinner.

Prep veggies (wash, cut, portion), make any sauces/marinades for the week, and in the fall and winter I usually make a soup to portion and freeze or a loaf of bread for the week. Sometimes neither, sometimes both. On occasion I prep smoothie ingredients, but we usually do it every night before we go to bed.

It varies, usually lots of chopping, grating, and mincing fruits/veggies, blanching or roasting veggies, sometimes making rice or pasta ahead to heat up for meals later in the week.

Boil eggs for E. Sometimes I make pancakes or waffles in batches and freeze. I'll also make broccoli bites and stick in the freezer. Sometimes i make myself an egg bake--lately it's just been scrambled eggs and cheese. I think i'll pre-make some breakfast burritos for next week. I make rice or quinoa or pasta ahead of time. I'll cook and season any ground meat--ground turkey for tacos, or ground sirloin. If we're having any sort of casserole, i will make it and cover it and stick it in the fridge. i also make any breads for the week (i made E pumpkin bread Sunday). I put any meats in bags with their respective marinades.

These days I do the following on the weekend to prep for the week. Sometimes I do it on Saturday during the day, but sometimes it gets done on Sunday night last minute! And a few items don't get done until the day I need them... so I need to make them part of the routine!

- boil half a dozen eggs, peel the shells off
- wash grapes
- wash cherry tomatoes
- peel garlic
- make rice (in the rice cooker)
