@Thehistoryofus: We just did something like that with a picture frame for my inlaws anniversary. I used stickers instead of tape though..... still have to pull the stickers up to see how it came out.

I like the idea of making cards for family members. I guess I should get on that so I can get them in the mail.

I always wanted to try the idea where you put painters tape down in the shape of a heart and let them paint around the outside. You remove the tape to reveal the heart.

Now that my LO is a little bit older I want to start celebrating holidays more. I know she doesn't get them yet, but she'll be almost 19 months old for Valentines Day so I still feel like we can have some fun with it.

We already started making Valentine's Day cards to send to family- I put paper and red and pink paint in a zip lock bag and let her move around the paint, and then cut the paper into hearts and tied them with ribbon onto red card stock. They came out really cute!

I also shopped the dollar bin at target for a Valentine's Day gift for LO, socks, hair bows, eating utensils, and a rubber ducky for the bath.

Maybe I'll make heart shaped pancakes for breakfast? Take her out for a special lunch or picnic in the park and dress us both up in pink? Do some more Valentine's themed crafts for Daddy?

What do you do?
