Absolutely sex. Sometimes that's the only way to get out of a rough patch. It tends to remind us that we do in fact love each other :)

@oliviaoblivia: That is so true. Our relationship is always better when we're having sex on a regular basis.

Our tense times always get resolved when we have a good laugh together. The last time we fought about something, I was so pissed off I didn't talk to him for almost a week. I was pretty lonely, but mad enough that I didn't care. He wore me down by making me laugh, and then things just went back to normal. I'm sorry you're feeling awkward, it's no fun :(

@oliviaoblivia: yes! Even though its the last thing I want to do when I am mad at him it always eases the tension!

@oliviaoblivia: Yep, was just about to say the same thing. Just initiate and go for it. That always gets us back in a good mood with each other.

Sex.
I always like him more and have more patience after we've gone to bed. Even when I don't like him much beforehand,

I recently stuck to my guns on a issue and don't plan on back pedaling. I think we're okay but we're both keeping to ourselves more than normal. We've talked about everything to death so I don't want to reopen to flood gates.

I need some ideas for at-home ways to reconnect. We do have a date night coming up but I'd like to reduce the awkwardness before then.

What do you do move forward after a bumpy time in a relationship?
