He was throwing food that he didn't want to eat, or just when he was done eating. We just encouraged him to tell us "all done!" and always happily took his tray/plate away without a fight or asking him to eat more, and respecting his opinion when he didn't want to eat something. Nothing we tried worked, but eventually she grew out of that phase. DS is 13 months old and has the wonderful habit of tossing unwanted food on the floor. We have tried a few things with little progress at this point. I know he is young and a toddler, but it is still frustrating. </p> <p>How do you handle this or what would you do? And, does the food throwing end!?!?! </p>
