I'll go to the bank and pharmacy to pick up meds. I like to get the dog out of their way too, even though they love him and don't mind him being there. If I have nothing to do we'll go play outside for awhile, then I'll go into LO's room and we'll play in there until they're gone.</p> <p>When LO was younger and they'd be there when she was napping I'd just sit on the computer while they cleaned around me. It was awkward.... but that's life I guess. I didn't give her a key but I would let her in before I left for work and she would lock the door behind her. I've always had cleaners from word of mouth so I've never worried about them stealing from me. Until we know her better I'm not comfortable having her in the house alone so I'm home while she cleans. I offered her a drink and chatted with her when she first arrived. But now I'm sitting in the living room while she cleans upstairs and I'll move up to the loft when she comes to clean downstairs. I feel kind of rude but at the same time I'm sure she'd rather just get the job done and go home. It's just a little awkward! </p>
