My baby is in the 4 month regression right now, and my go-to is to put her in the ring sling, put the tail over her head, and just pat her bum until she falls asleep. I've had to do this for every nap for the last 3 days. In the night, I can usually get her to sleep on my chest, but then I don't sleep so it's not exactly a win/win.!

Hope it passes for you (and me!) soon. Definitely not a bad mommy moment... You can only do so much before its time to throw in the towel.

Ugh my first response was "cry". But yeah like you, if nothing nothing works, I give up and hope for an early nap. We usually try sleeping with her in the queen size bed in her room (she still sleeps in the crib) and it used to work. Now she tries to sleep sometimes in there but can't seem to settle. Brutal. I hope you both have some nice naps today.

My 6 month old is going through a sleep regression/ wonder week/ milestone/ whatever the heck you want to call it so she currently is not sleeping. On our third wake up of the night at 4:30am after an hour of bouncing, rocking, shushing, trying to co sleep, putting in the swing, walking she was not going back to sleep and literally STARING at me. So at 4:30 I pulled the plug. We came downstairs and we are watching Real Housewives of OC reruns with a giant cup of coffee. She's whiny and obviously still tired but I'm just done. Is this a bad mommy moment?.... Lol
