Prior to 12 months, I'm guilty of shoving my boob in his face so I can sleep. lol Post 12 months, I just leave him in bed with us, and let him do his own thing while we lay there. Or DH will hold/walk around with him till he settles down then puts him down once he's asleep. That wasn't fun!

I try to shush her a few times, give up and take her into our bed. Her sleep is terrible lately and I'd consider sleep training if she had her own room. I'm not really losing sleep, just worried she might have trouble sleeping by herself if she gets used to this. As it is, I can't have her fussing at night and waking everyone, so I just hope she'll grow out of the night waking.

@sorrycharlie: ds has started doing this recently. Sometimes he's happy and smiling but last night he was seriously crying which is rare for him. I gave him some Tylenol and nursed him 1000 times and he finally fell asleep.

A few times we have just had to leave him in his crib and he eventually figures it out (after hours and hours). He's usually not crying, but just fussing and talking sporadically. I'm definitely over it. I was a witch last night to dh because I was sooooooo tired!

I stuck her in the pack n play and laid on the couch. middle of the night. I'm over this whole teething thing! she just slaps me and shrieks at the top of her lungs, so it's better than waking up my 3 year old I suppose...zzzzz.

do you stick them in their crib, or let them play when they're wide awake in the MOTN?
