I let him go as late as 5:30. That means I can still have him down by 8 at the latest and it isn't usually a problem.

I wake her up. She'd just sleep through the night and wake up super early if I let her.

If it's getting close to her bedtime, I'll wake her up but by opening her bedroom door and having her wake up by the noises. But getting close to bedtime is the only time I'll intentionally wake her up.

This happened to me today! LO took a nap literally 30 minutes before we start her bedtime routine!
I just let her sleep though. It threw us about an hour behind schedule and wasn't a big deal.

If my kids are sick and/or haven't been sleeping well, I'll definitely let them sleep in. Otherwise, we're pretty strict about waking them up so that their bedtime isn't too late!

This is the only time I wake LO up from naps. He goes down for the night at 7:15 and I wake him up by 6:15 if he's still sleeping. If he falls asleep after 6:30, like when we are driving home from daycare on a late night, then I'll get him up for pjs, diaper and bottle. Usually he doesn't wake up too much, then he'll go right back to sleep.

I start making dinner (she sleeps in Babywearing for naps) and she wakes up on her own.

My DD is STILL asleep from her afternoon nap. She has been asleep for 2 hours now & bedtime is coming up in a couple of hours. I feel like I should wake her, since she will be sleeping so soon anyways but also want to let her sleep. She has been having trouble sleeping at night due to teething but she used to sleep 10-12 hours without issue. What do you do if this happens with your LO?
