When DD gets particularly challenging, we go for a walk. She sits in the front of the stroller, I stand in the back, and we both get some private time. :) Otherwise, I just try to keep control of myself and deal with the situation as quickly as possible. Then, I distract DD with something and take a few minutes for myself to calm down. Toddlers are hard!

I would walk away, leave him crying (usually in the high chair during mealtime) and cry. And usually call Wagon Sr. and curse him out for whatever reason (somehow point the blame to him). Poor Wagon Sr. This hasn't happened since I went back to work. Now when I get angry at Wagon Jr., we're almost always with Wagon Sr. as well and we deal with it together.

Yikes! Hope you feel better. I get frustrated when my LO is sucking on my nipple and then suddenly jerks his head away...yanking my nipple! It hurts! I know he's young and probably doesn't know any better but one time he kept doing it so I had to stop him, and told him nicely but firmly to stop.

I try to smile to calm down. I know it's normal to get mad sometimes, but I refuse to get upset with her like I do with those bad students of mine. I don't want to yell at herl ike i do them. I guess I worry a little tooomuch, but I have to because I will not be the mean woman I am at work, at home too.

God, I need a new job. :(

I just take a minute to regain my composure. My DD is still young (10 months) but she's already started testing the limits. Toddlerhood is going to be so much fun! Weeee! /sarcasm

Ouch! Hope you feel better soon. So glad LO has never bit me. When I get mad, I just take a few minutes in another room to blow off some steam.

When LO makes me mad, I just walk away for a minute and regain myself. Usually it's during meal times. He's a good eater but he'll throw food on the ground and slap my hand away if he doesn't like something with food splattering everywhere. He makes such a big mess and it's hard to clean up/crouch on the floor with this big ole belly. If I get mad, I just leave him in his high chair and walk into the kitchen and do some dishes and ignore him for a minute. Happens pretty often. =\

Oh no, hope your nipple heals soon! When LO makes me mad I usually get some snuggles in and then I feel better. I can't stay mad at her for long!

When LO makes me mad, I have to close the door and cry because I feel guilty for being mad. Then I take a few deep breaths and try to start all over. Usually my patience wears thing when I try to make her do things at normal adult speed (ie. putting on her clothes, changing her diaper, etc.)...

LO is seriously testing my patience today.
She's not eating well, isn't napping well and she freaking BIT MY NIPPLE and made it bleed.
She bit it 50 minutes ago and it still hurts.

Hugging and kissing her makes me feel better. So I've been hugging and kissing her a lot.

Going to put her down for a nap and then go food shopping when she wakes!
