@Foodnerd81: I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of those texts because I know what I'd be saying!!!
@Cherrybee: Yes, it's always his fault because he got me pregnant :silly:
@Danizaur: I got a few "Babe, are you ok?" "Why aren't you answering me, you were just awake!!?" texts this morning. I pretty much told him if ever deploys again I'm divorcing his @ss because he made me a single Mom to 3!!! Irrational now, totally made sense at 3am

@.twist.: She would love that! Except then she'd not want to go back into her bed!! lol
@babynumber1: I would so love to teach her how to fall back to sleep on her own, I'm just afraid of doing it on my own and taking another downward sleep spiral with my toddler!
@spartysammy: Yes! She's secretly conspiring against me!
@Pirouette: I'm going to pull the pack n play out of storage and give her my phone, and some toys next time this happens.
@Baby Boy Mom: I forgot about wonder weeks, that could totally be it!!

@StbHisMrs: I irrationally texted my husband when he was gone on a trip. I texted at 3am that I couldn't do this anymore. I'm a terrible mom. I just want to sleep. He would wake up worried about me and I would be over it by then. Haha. It just happens

@Foodnerd81: @StbHisMrs: Do you ever reflexively BLAME your husband for your LO not sleeping? I'm awful for this- "she was dropping off until you sneezed really loudly" or something equally unreasonable! I just need someone to be annoyed with because its just so damn unfair!

@StbHisMrs: Oh yeah, blaming the husband via texts. He dropped her sound machine once and it broke, and he didn't tell me so I discovered it at nap time when I was trying to transfer a sleeping baby to the crib.... oh the texts I sent that afternoon. You would think he dropped and broke the baby, not the sound machine...

btw that picture of her sleeping- so precious. How could that little face cause so much trouble?

We've gone through pretty much the same thing. It definitely sounds like she's overtired. Could you put her to sleep in your bed for a bit? That's what we were doing, then put his older brother to sleep and then move the baby back into his own bed…
ETA: also remembered that you have a wonder week coming up…so maybe things will sort themselves out soon? hopefully :goodluck:

@Foodnerd81: hahaha...i ALWAYS say that. "it's totally fine, i'm just never gonna sleep again!"

@StbHisMrs: SO cute  we haven't found the right solution to these issues (usually for us it's the early wakeup), but generally we take shifts (i realize that's not an option for you), and usually if we give her one of our cell phones to play with, she'll play quietly in our bed. also, i put toys in her crib and she'll play quietly for a little while. other than that, lots of playing the martyr and being cranky :(

@StbHisMrs: can you move your older child out of the room and do some sleep training. We have had a few challenging sleep times and teaching her to fall back asleep has been invaluable. Maybe build a fort in the living room or your room and make it fun and special for the older one?

@StbHisMrs: I'm sorry. That's just brutal. No advice though I like the travel crib in your room idea. I usually do the same as @Cherrybee: and complain, huff and puff, say overly dramatic things like "no, it's fine! I'll just never sleep again!"

Then I drink tons of coffee in the morning, again in the afternoon, then can't fall asleep at night even after the baby has gone back to sleep. :(

I'm so sorry. Lack of sleep is the worst.

In answer to your question, I huff & puff, pick fights with my husband, punch the mattress a few times then sit crying while she tear-arses around the living room. Oh, I missed moan about it on Facebook.

@lamariniere: That's a good idea, maybe I'll pull thout of storage for tomorrow night.

I'd like to just let her cry in her crib but that would open another can of worms because she'd wake her sister up!

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear this! Worst case scenario, I bring the travel crib into our bedroom, dump in a bunch of toys and stick her in there. It doesn't always work, but at least I know she's not going to fall off of the bed while we are trying to sleep.

My youngest is having a hard time. I put her to bed at 8:30-9 (earliest I can because she shares a room with her sister and the older one will purposely wake her up if I change the order).
So then I can't go to sleep until 11:30 because she wakes up screaming once every hour until 11:30, I have rock her back to sleep each time. Then she wakes at 2, I am half asleep and bring her into my bed, then the rest of the night she rolls around, kicks me in the face etc... We have a king and I end up on the very edge every night with a foot in my face.

Tonight she woke at 11:30 (after I fell asleep on the floor) and has been up ever since. I am so tired, I want to scream!!! It's 2:45am and I have to be up at 5am.
