We took him to ped, he had ear infections and bad cold. She gave him heavy duty shots in both legs and antibiotics because she was very concerned baby could get sick. </p> <p> I stayed as far away from him as I could for about a week. For her, make sure she's comfortable and then treat the cough. Somehow humidifiers are magic in our house. DD has yet another cough. Bad enough where she has trouble sleeping at night. We literally just got over this - it had turned into pneumonia requiring her 2nd round of antibiotics this winter. Luckily I am still feeling okay (knock on wood!) but my due date is TOMORROW! I've been having cramps all day and I'm terrified. Her last cough lasted 7 weeks! What should I do? Any super herbal remedies to get her better and keep me healthy? </p> <p>I was really looking forward to them bonding and I'm scared that if I have to keep her away from the new baby it will create resentment and jealousy. I don't even think our hospital will allow her to visit if she has a cough because we have had such a horrific flu season here. I'm just really sad. </p>
