I try to purge the really bad ones, and the rest I save because I can't help but keep them lol. We have them backed up on an external hd, and also to crashplan.com along with everything else on our computers.

I think even the imperfect photos become special over time, but more for me and his dad, rather than LO himself. I back up photos on Flickr and google +, but print very few. There is digital overload, but it doesn't bother me, since it's not physical clutter. I do need to get more organized in creating albums or photo books, though!

I keep all decent photos on my external drive, backed up to a second drive. Then I do yearly photo books. I don't think you'll ever regret having too many photos!

As I take photos, I try to delete the not as good ones and only keep the best. Then I usually do another filter through and keep only 1-2 pictures of each "pose" once I can see them on my computer. I don't see the point in keeping photos that are doubles or are simply not good photos.

I have an external hard drive and a drop box account right now, but I totally need to get rid of all the doubles, or photos that are blurry or just not nice.

I have a zenfolio account where I have unlimited storage, so my photos are backed up there. I made a 1 year album for DS and plan to do the same for DD. I used a print service so it is like a book. The rest of the photos I just keep digitally...not sure what will become of them though.

Haha. Good question. I'm sure they will not be interested in looking at ALL the pics and videos. But I go back and look at them a lot! I have them all by month on Google+ (for photos) and Youtube (videos), but they are private so strangers online can't see.

We have about 2k printed photos of LO's so far (mostly of A), but they are all the good non blurry ones, I cleared out the not so good ones before printing. I'm sure I went a little overboard but I don't think she will ever say there are TOO many pictures. I always feared there being a lack of photos so I'm making sure they have plenty.

I have over 1000 pictures and videos of LO and I feel like having so many kind of takes the value away from them. Is she ever really going to look through thousands of baby pictures? I'm trying to fit as many as possible into her 1 year photo book but other than that I don't see the point in keeping them. Should I delete them or do you have other recommendations? Am I just being weird, or will she really want this many pictures of herself?

My goal is to sit down and purge all blurry/not cute pictures and have maybe just a few hundred a year (3-400)? Will I regret deleting them? How do you guys handle the picture overload?
