For formal occasions I either wear it up in some kind of braid/twist updo that I can do myself or I wear it down with maybe bits pulled back into a clip. I just wore it down with the topped partially pinned back to a wedding on Saturday. It looked fine but I didn't like it. I just don't know how to do my hair. Next wedding we're attending is in November, and I think I'll honestly just make a salon appt for something simple and inexpensive. She always does this half-up beachy curls thing that looks amazing. That could be fun and it’s not too hard (if you have some hair products like gel/mousse/hair spray, plus a flat iron or curling iron). </p> <p>I recently discovered my second child has given me wavy hair. So I’m trying to figure out ways to bring out the waves. But usually I used to just do a quick blow out to even out some of the kink. </p> <p>I love YouTube for hair tutorials. Sometimes I try to curl it in big waves with a curling iron but usually it falls flat and looks worse.
