I am a firm believer in outside time for kids. As a teacher, I see the effects of 'indoor recess' days. Yikes. I promise myself that the next time I get a kindergarten classroom I am going to ask that the parents send rain coats and rain boots on all rainy days, and I will take them outside. </p> <p>My LO is just an infant, so on rainy days sometimes we go for a stroller walk with the rain plastic stuff, and other days I put him in the ergo and we walk under my see-through umbrella.
