I was sick this last weekend for the first time since LO was born, I was actually really glad it happened on a Saturday because my husband was home. I pumped so he could take and feed LO all day/night. He was such a good husband/daddy, I pumped at 8pm, and he kept LO until 3am for me! (we co-sleep, so he kept him downstairs so I could sleep uninterrupted) I felt so blessed.

Idk what I'll do when I'm sick on a day my husband is at work.. maybe call my sister or mom lol I actually probably will.

The bare minimum! I have been sick as much as I have been healthy in the last few months. It is rough. When I'm really sick I rely on DH, daycare even when I'm home sick, and my in laws. The other day DS woke early and I was sick so he watched an episode of sesame street while he ate cheerios in his exersaucer while I got another 45 minutes of sleep.

@artbee: LO is 11 months and able to play with stuff. We were lucky it wasn't a month ago when crawling around the house was the latest craze! Still crawls around, obviously, but is a bit more manageable.

DH is back at work today so I am hoping between naps, a little play, feeding and maybe an outing to the mall I can make it through the day.

@chopsuey119: Did you lose weight? I remember one time LO and I were both sick for a week and I lost 10 lbs! I put some of it back on, though, but that was pretty good. LOL.

DItto to @Andrea. I just survive. Omg. DH left for a TEN day trip once when LO and I were both sick. I thought I was going to die and was SO close to calling my mom and flying her out to help me.
I was so miserable. Luckily LO was only 4 months old and wasn't as active as she is now.

@cupcakemama: That is lucky! My LO is still little, and I think she feels it when I'm not feeling well so she's even grumpier :(

DH and I were both as sick as dogs over the Easter break. LO is old enough to be able to play with toys so we just set up LO with toys and tried to keep LO happy! We were so lucky that LO was so good for us.

@mediagirl: Yep. Or take advantage of any family that lives nearby. My mom has lived at our house for the last two weeks to help me with LO!

Oh geez. This is one of my big worries. What happens when Mom gets sick?? I guess you just do the best you can with what you have?

Ever since LO was born I've had daily migraines. I try to play with her and be a good mommy, but it's just not always possible. Some days we go from tummy time, to jumper, etc. because it's just too hard for me to hold her and be with her. I hate it, but it's life.

What do you do with your LO when you're not up to playing and entertaining all day?
