My dd is almost 12 months and other than when we eat out, she tends to eat the same kind of things: omelets, bread/toast (sometimes with peanut butter), cheese slices, cheerios/puffs/crunchies/yogurt drops, unsalted canned green beans/corn/carrots, sliced fruits or berries, pasta/meatsauce or meatballs, green smoothies, cucumber or celery slices, bits of grilled or baked chicken pork or fish off my plate, and baby food jars/pouches (I mix the plain ones with oatmeal cereal for her last meal).

My LO just turned 14 months and we have been doing BLW since he was 9.5 months. A typical day of food looks like this:

Breakfast: egg, rice, yogurt packet, bacon, vienna sausage, grapes, strawberries

Lunch: chicken, rice, beans, cheese, grapes, strawberries, plums, apples

Dinner: Hawaiian bread, rice, chicken with spinach, pork with eggplant and okra, pretty much whatever dish we eat

Snacks: cheese, applesauce packet, cheerios, freeze dried strawberries or yogurt melts

Mind you he doesn't eat all of the food all of the time, but he does get a lot of variety with each meal. So he can pick and choose what he wants to eat. He loves his fruit the most though. :silly:

My LO is 11.5m and he eats pretty much whatever we eat.

For example:
Breakfast - piece of toast with hummus (fave!) or PB; oatmeal fingers; dry Cheerios; cut up fruit; yoghurt

Lunch - cottage cheese and fruit; scrambled eggs with veggies; cut up leftover meat (chicken/pork); grated cheese

Dinner - whatever we're having, usually meat with steamed veggies (zucchini is his fave) and a side of rice; fruit

@Smurfette: Hah, well, like @Mrs. Lion: we eat pretty much the same rotation of foods every week... so although she will eat anything we do, she hasn't tried a whole heck of a lot.... I need to work on that!

@Mrs. Lion: Yeah R has been eating more carbs lately but it is the only thing she will eat sometimes. I can give her meat and veggies and she will sit there and not eat. Lately all she wants is milk. Drinks so much she won't eat, so are having to not give her any till she eats.
She has been teething since last Aug straight.....it sucks!

@Smurfette: It probably helps that WE eat a lot of the same things over and over again haha :) And sometimes he doesn't...He is only 14 months and has been teething for...oh....4 months? So if he refuses something I just make him a PBJ... It happens!

I am so jealous of everyone's LO's that eats what they eat. R is so picky. There are 4 meats she will eat (will eat more at day care) but at home that is it. She eats the same things over and over again. So frustrating.

We did BLW, so what LO eat's isn't much different from before 12 months...he just eats a lot more now. This has pretty much been our plan since about 9 months when he figured out how to eat and actually swallow (minus the peanut butter...we waited until 12 months for that and honey). I offer a cup of milk with every meal, but he rarely finishes one. He only drinks maybe 10-12 ounces throughout the day, but he eats a lot of fruit and appears to be getting plenty of fluid based on his diapers.

Breakfast - plain oatmeal with about a teaspoon of peanut butter and a teaspoon of fruit preserves for flavor and half of a banana. Sometimes he has scrambled eggs with spinach and cheese, but eggs aren't his favorite.

Snack - Fruit and cheerios, or if we are on the run I will give him a reusable pouch filled with half plain greek yogurt and half unsweetened applesauce.

Lunch - Leftovers from the night before (whatever I am eating) or if I am having a salad I will make him a PBJ sandwich and some frozen vegetables (I buy the corn/carrots/peas mix) or black olives.

Snack - Fruit, yogurt/applesauce (if he didn't have that earlier), maybe some more cheerios or cracker sandwiches from trader joes (they are like the ritz kind).

Dinner - Whatever we are having. He loves spicy stuff, noodles, black bean burgers, regular beef burgers, shredded chicken (or just cut up grilled chicken) whatever vegetables we are eating (except salad...if we have salad I give him mixed vegetables instead).

Lunch: turkey/hummus roll ups on a wheat tortilla, blueberries or another small fruit, peas, bell pepper strips or similar veggie, boiled egg slices, a square of colby jack cheese, whole wheat pasta. Not all of the above, just a mix of these types of things.
Dinner: whatever we eat, regardless of spices. I just don't make anything super spicy.

I've been giving her bits of our dinner for a long time! Chunks of chicken or fish or beef or pork, shredded cheese, mac and cheese (Annie's or TJ"s), rice, veggies (cooked very very soft for her), hunks of bread and butter (omg she loves butter). I don't make her a special meal, i just sort of partition out some of ours for her. She also LOVES hard boiled eggs and yogurt, so she gets some of that. And hummus. Girlfriend loves hummus and has just learned to "dip" veggie sticks in it, so she practices with that. She also likes sweet potatoes. Sometimes I heat her up a leftover waffle or pancake from breakfast (i make them in batches), plus fruit. I've started ending her dinner with a few strawberries or half a banana.

adding a 'menu':
Breakfast - whole wheat waffles/pancakes, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cheesy eggs
Lunch - whatever's at daycare
Snack - puffs (less lately than I used to rely on), applesauce pouches, cheese sticks, hard boiled eggs, banana bread if i have some, a banana with almond butter, strawberries with yogurt dip
Dinner - see above

My daughter is almost 12 mo and I'm currently feeding her the following. Looking for inspiration/ideas for some variety from others!

Breakfast: fruit puree w/ yogurt and oatmeal cereal + cheerios
Lunch: lentils & veggie puree (generally sweet potatoes)
Occassional snack: puffs or baby mum mums
Dinner: shredded cheese, veggies (generally peas), sometimes protein (chicken or turkey), fruit

She's with the nanny during the day, but for dinner I'll generally try to give her some of what I'm eating as well. It's hard to have dinner ready that early, though, and I worry that my food may be too salty/spicy!
