My kids are huuuuge sweet eaters, so they love the traditional xmas morning bfast at my parents': monkey bread and christmas cookies. I will probably attempt to get them to eat scrambled eggs or toast, but they won't.

I'm making cream cheese & sausage crescent rolls. My daughter is 15 months old and loves savory things more than sweet things. i just made these for the first time for a christmas party this weekend and she kept stealing them off the plate, she couldn't get enough! its literally just crumbled breakfast sausage mixed with cream cheese and spread on a sheet of crescent roll dough and rolled up. i made it the night before, wrapped it in plastic wrap, then just cut it up and baked for 15 mins in the morning. everyone loved them!

Growing up it was always a big bacon and egg breakfast.

Last year I did a breakfast casserole for the three of us and I'm going to do it again this year when we are with are family. If any of the kids are hungry before they can have cereal or yogurt to hold them over.

My family always has scotch eggs on Christmas morning. Luckily my first loves hardboiled eggs and my second loves sausage so they share it :) we normally have some pancakes or something sweet to go with it. 'Maybe this year I'll try an overnight French toast to save time.

Growing up, we always had breakfast casserole and this bread that is a family recipe. DH doesn't eat cheese so a breakfast casserole is harder to do, though I try and just keep cheese off part of it. Last year, I made monkey bread and think I might start that as a new tradition. I just need to make a smaller amount since there's only 4 of us.

We'll probably do pancakes because they are easy and the kids eat them well. We're having DH's parents over for brunch that day so we're also planning on having a bunch of other breakfasts things then - egg casserole, a coffee cake, pastries from our fave local bakery, probably a ton of bacon.

My LO isn't a big sweets eater either and won't eat most pastries, so on Christmas I'll likely just make her what she eats on the weekends or if we go out to breakfast: bacon or ham, eggs (she especially likes hard boiled) and toast. Kind of boring, but that's ok!

We do a great overnight crock pot apple oatmeal. We serve with various toppings. Mostly because it makes the house smell amazing. We use steel cut oats so they hold up better overnight.

I do a breakfast casserole every Christmas. I prepare it the night before, then throw it in the oven when we sit down to open gifts. It takes about an hour to 1.5 hours to cook, so breakfast is done shortly after we're done opening gifts and I'm not stuck in the kitchen while everyone is playing with new toys.

My daughter isn't a huge sweets eater. She will eat a pancake but then will ask for something else, like a meat or fruit. She would prefer oatmeal or eggs every morning if we had time. This makes Christmas morning hard because I always make cinnamon rolls! I think I may try to find a somewhat healthy breakfast casserole, as well.
