DD2 runs around, but I don't worry too much since the children's area takes up the entire floor so it's pretty safe for her to wander. I just have to make sure that she doesn't bolt into the elevator. It is hard because DD1 wants me to read to her, but I have to keep an eye out on DD2 running around so I agree that it's not so fun with 2 mobile kids. It was a lot easier for me to take them both when DD2 wasn't walking yet!

We dont go very often because all lo cares about is pushing the carts around. Storytime is a disaster because he doesnt unspderstand yet that he needs to stay with me. Hopefully in 6 months or so it will be easier :) he loves books and will read a lot at home, so i just pick them up for him. Not a battle i want to fight right now :)

We're going later today! We used to go to the story time for toddlers, but now it's at her naptime. We usually just head to the kids area. She'll play with some stuffed animals and flip through some books (all the board books are in bins so she can just grab a bunch). She does bolt sometimes but I can usually get her. It's a small town library and our landlord is a librarian there, so it feels safe and cozy and I don't worry too much.

Usually we go to the children's book section and then our daughter will play hide and seek (she hides, we seek). I have no idea why she is so convinced that the library is for hiding! The last time we were there, I was by myself with both kids and she just took off running. *good times*

It got pretty stressful, so now I only go to the library if we're there to pick up books. Or if Bee and I are both there, since it's a lot easier to wrangle both kids together.
