I like that it's energy efficient- high efficancy appliances &amp; heating/cooling system. I like that I can walk to a lot of things. I like our granite &amp; stainless, makes for a clean look. I like our huge living/dining space. I like that we are one block from the fire station and that we have a sprinkler system! Ooo and that there is no carpet! It's historic with lots of original woodwork and charm and an updated kitchen and upstairs bathroom and the huuuge master walkin closet. Drawbacks: you have to walk through the master suite to get to the kids' room. Also the backyard is small. It flooded in the winter from heavy rain and it cost us a fortune to put in a drainage system and professional cleaning/mold testing. 2. It's a friendly basement but I always think most basements are haunted 3. TONS of spiders. I found something that looked like a pincher bug/centipede/daddy long leg the other day and we have pest control.</p> <p>The positives: The millwork and dark bronze finishes made me love the house (even though it's cosmetic). We have a giant yard in a prime location with great schools so it makes up for the lame basement. </p> <p>However...I won't ever buy a house with a basement! </p> <p>What are your likes and dislikes about your house/apartment? </p>
