I also can't wait to teach her the art of bargain shopping, dance in the grass in the sunshine in twirly dresses, paint her nails and do her hair, take her for her first haircut, watch chick flicks and then remind her that's not reality but a fun fairy tale, etc. I think the thing I'm most excited about though is showing her how to love. I want her to see my relationship with her daddy and show her what true love is. I took ballet lessons (so did my mom when she was young), and growing up she and I had season tickets to the Seattle ballet every season, starting when I was around 4 or 5. I remember how exciting “ballet night” was – we would dress up in fancy dresses and my mom would pin up my hair and after the ballet we would always leave the building and walk around back to see if we could see any dancers leaving. Great memories of those nights!
