We send LO1 to a Montessori school/daycare 3 days a week. I love the school because he gets lots of free play time outside. He always comes home muddy and I love that! He is also learning so much there. I love that it's a full day program, so when I come home from work, I can run a few errands or even take a short nap before going to pick him up.

On the other two days, he is either home with my parents or his babysitter. I love rotating- a day at school and then a day at home- I think it helps keep him healthy and rested. And of course, I love that the day with my parents is free!

Love DS1's preschool! They send pic updates throughout the day and do so many different things that I couldn't do with him at home in one half day.

Grandmacare because I WAH and I've been able to be around my 6 month old while we are still nursing, etc.

I love that it is convenient, in home daycare in our neighborhood. It's only like 2 minutes from our house. I love that the daycare lady loves DD, I love that DD loves daycare and playing with her friends. I love that when I pick her up she is always happy. I also love that they go outside to play whenever the weather permits

@ValentineMommy: that's a sweet deal! I loved when he had a nanny between 12 and 20 months, I would Skype at lunch with DS most days. I obviously don't get to do that at daycare/preschool.

I don't get pics texted to me, but the teachers take tons of pics and plaster them all over the classroom and I love looking at them to see him in action during the day.

It's a 2 minute walk, one classroom only so drop off is much less chaotic and easier than our old daycare, great teachers that DS loves (that also make drop off easy), he has a lot of fun there, and has made some good friends which is so adorable to see and hear him talk about.

Mine is my mom....hard not to

She also facetimes with me twice during the day so I can talk to the boys, and she sends me pictures of them when they first get up.

Also, she comes to my house. I leave for work at 5:30am, so she shows up then so they don't have to wake up so early.

I love how close it is (takes me 2 minutes to walk there), and I love how caring the teachers are. You can see and feel that they really do love the kids.

I WFH and we have grandma care (my mom) at our house so I really love almost everything about it! The only downside is that I sometimes feel guilty that my mom gives up so much time to watch DD, but she assures me she loves it and doesn't mind.

DS1's preschool is 4 minutes from our house. I love that. And they treat the kids with respect / talk to them like adults. I like that too.

DS2 has a great nanny. She's energetic and adores him. She texts me pictures and updates all the time, even though I work from home : )

DS has only been in daycare for 2 weeks but I love how much the providers love my son and the fact that they used to run a preschool so they really focus on learning even though it's an in home daycare.

LO's daycare is on the campus of the university I work at so there is not much extra time needed to drop her off when I'm headed to work.
They also have all food and diapers covered. It's beautiful.

DD goes to a little Montessori school for toddlers & preschoolers. I love that it's small, and I know all of the parents. The teachers (she has 6) are all so unique and kind. It feels like a real community. I can tell that DD loves it, because she talks about school alllll of the time.

I love LO's preschool because it is nature based and she spends tons of time outdoors. Since we have a tiny baby at home, we haven't been able to take our oldest out much to play but I don't sweat it because they do such an awesome time. The teachers are wonderful and I also enjoy talking to the other parents at pickup time.

DH is a SAHD and I love not having to get the kids up and ready for daycare because DD1 is not a morning person.

I love the center that my older Los attend for preschool. LO 1 (4) started at the daycare when she was 12 weeks old and LO 2 (2.5) started at 16 weeks.

They are really flexible with schedules, the teachers are kind and caring, nice parents (I still need to make more of an effort to meet the parents of LO 2's friends), fun activities and my kids enjoy their time with their friends.

The first year was hard for us because LO 1 was sick all of the time but things have been great since then.
