I love the school because he gets lots of free play time outside. He always comes home muddy and I love that! He is also learning so much there. I love that it's a full day program, so when I come home from work, I can run a few errands or even take a short nap before going to pick him up.</p> <p>On the other two days, he is either home with my parents or his babysitter. I love rotating- a day at school and then a day at home- I think it helps keep him healthy and rested. It's only like 2 minutes from our house. I love that the daycare lady loves DD, I love that DD loves daycare and playing with her friends. I love that when I pick her up she is always happy. I loved when he had a nanny between 12 and 20 months, I would Skype at lunch with DS most days. I love that it's small, and I know all of the parents. The teachers (she has 6) are all so unique and kind. It feels like a real community. Since we have a tiny baby at home, we haven't been able to take our oldest out much to play but I don't sweat it because they do such an awesome time. LO 1 (4) started at the daycare when she was 12 weeks old and LO 2 (2.5) started at 16 weeks. </p> <p>They are really flexible with schedules, the teachers are kind and caring, nice parents (I still need to make more of an effort to meet the parents of LO 2's friends), fun activities and my kids enjoy their time with their friends. </p> <p>The first year was hard for us because LO 1 was sick all of the time but things have been great since then. </p>
