I guess hot chocolate? I make it off the back of the Hershey's baking chocolate powder can. I make several things well but I don't know that I can claim that they're better than every restaurant out there!

Thank you for sharing the hot cocoa recipe! My most common craving has been hot chocolate/chocolate milk, so this is perfect!

I started making homemade bread for my DH to use for his daily lunch sandwiches - and now he doesn't like them with store-bought bread! He told me last night he feels spoiled. :)

Hummus. I use Mark Bittman's recipe in How to Cook Everything. Store bought hummus tastes like chemicals to me now.

And my husband likes my chili - it's the Pioneer Woman's recipe on her site.

@lawbee11: Well... sorry to disappoint you but I'm in the "the right fats are good for you" camp so all the stuff I make is "high fat" - like my chocolate milk was made with fresh raw milk straight from the cow haha!! :) So if I made it, it's probably be with raw milk again ;) But you could use whatever milk you wish. :)
Oh, and I posted it just above your post :)

Penne a la vodka and turkey chili!

I feel like whenever you order chili at a restaurant it's too mushy from being cooked way too long. Mine has a lot of flavors going on and is cooked but you can still see the different ingredients. And my penne a la vodka is so easy to make and tastes like it was made in an italian restaurant!

@Coco Bee: You should post the chocolate milk recipe! And if you happen to stumble upon a low-fat eggnog recipe, I'd love that, too! (I used to get eggnog lattes from Starbucks all the time during the holidays, then I looked up the nutrition info online and haven't had one since...I didn't realize eggnog was so bad for you!)

@oahujeni: @mrs. wagon:
I followed the recipe on this blog: http://saltnpepper.tv/2012/10/homemade-hot-cocoa/# (and she made it with coconut milk for those of you with MSPI!!)

Then I put it in a jar in the fridge overnight and had it today - YUMM.

I did drink it as hot chocolate last night and it was really good too.

Only difference is I added a little extra raw honey :)
