Aquaphor works better than Vaseline. I only used Vaseline because of my sons circumcision. Definitely need some type of moisturizer though.</p> <p>I second the white noise machine and make sure you have plenty of food!!!</p> <p>Lastly, I think the snow suit on your list is not needed. I used it A LOT with DD2 with a toddler underfoot! Have more than one option for carrier in case baby doesn't like one. My first hated baby wearing but it was a life saver for my second. I never needed it in the beginning last time but this time I was so engorged my LO couldn't latch when she was a few days old and I hand expressed into a bottle for Dh to feed her. I've had advil sitting in my medicine cabinet for 9 months staring at my longingly when i had migraines, so that's there too!
