When we traveled I just used an old plastic table cloth, that way I could take it and shake it in trash and then give it a quick wipe down. I actually don't wipe mine off every meal. I shake it off in the backyard every evening and wash it (if you have a washable one) every few days. Mine is the prince lionheart one that's discontinued. It's a thin/light piece of rubber, it doesn't move and is easy (easier than tile &amp; grout) to wipe. Our dog does a good job with the big stuff first though :p </p>
