When we took DS1 to the beach for the first time he was only a couple months and just slept on a blanket or in a car seat carrier the entire time. The second time he went he was over a year and was very content just sitting right in the sand and playing the whole time.</p> <p>DS2 does not like to hang out in his car seat but I don't think he will be a stable enough sitter for me to plop him down in the sand either. What can he hang out in that won't be a pain to clean if it gets sandy? </p>
